APRENDIZAJE DE LENGUAS ASISTIDO POR COMPUTADORAS.
De acuerdo a lo antes visto "CALL" es una forma de aprendizaje através de un ordenador para facilitar la enseñanza del idioma extranjero.
Se lleva a cabo este proceso en forma didactica.
Hablaron tambien de que el internet, su importancia y sus tecnologias ham sido más populares para apoyar el proceso de enseñanza en instituciones de educación superior, la educación puede ser vía internet y/o virtual, también existe la modalidad de educación a distancia con progamas informaticos. Ejemplos de algunos de programa son:
STORYBOARD: programa de textos o recreción de textos. Encontramos también el proyecto de PLATO (Programmed logic for automatic teaching operations) el cual fue antecesor de CALL. Así como el programa llamada TICCIT project, creado en 1971 por Young University el cual era apoyado por la televisión.

We have learned that this was Originated in 60s.In the late 70s with PC’s arrival (Personal Computer) Early CALL favoured to programmed instruction like CALI (Computer assisted language instruction)
Throughout the 80s CALL widened its scope embracing the communicative approach.
We have learned that CALL puts emphasis on student-centered materials that allow learners to work on their own. Materials may be structured or unstructured.They normally embody two important features: interactive learning and individualized learning.
These types of programs have been developing, it will be by interactive learning and individualized learning. Finally we have some advantages about CALL: CALL is essentially a tool that helps teachers to facilitate the language learning process.
The design of CALL materials generally takes into consideration principles of language pedagogy and methodology. Enhances the motivation level of students. Useful in-group activities as well as in imparting individualised instruction.
